Who We Are


Some of us used to run major, international branding studios. We have a few internationally-recognised, multi-award winning designers. A couple of multi-format storytellers. There are experienced researchers, and rising-star strategists. Illustrators. Animators. UX specialists. Some old hands. Some fresh faces. We’re a diverse group – but we’re united by our approach, our passion, and our values.

We build brands to last.

Different projects require different approaches, and have different requirements– but we’ve found that we work best on projects where outcome is prioritised over urgency. We care about details, and we care about impact – because we know that’s how you build brands that last.

We need the nerdy.

Our work is driven by insight, insight is driven by knowledge… and knowledge is accumulated by the passionate. We look for people who are weirdly and wildly passionate about their thing, whatever that thing is.

Your work should make
your life better.

Work is part of life, but it shouldn’t be your whole life – so if your work is making your life worse, something is terribly wrong. We want to make sure what our people do within our walls broadens and improves their life experience.

We have to think outside
the office.

Our work relies on finding novel solutions, and there’s little novel about an office. We know we need to be on the ground, meeting people and soaking up knowledge, to do a good job – so we plan our projects accordingly.

Only you can define you.

Sometimes you don’t know you can do something until you’re doing it. So while we do hire for particular roles, we open all parts of our process up to the whole team, and encourage you to experiment beyond your job title – so you can grow in unexpected and exciting directions.

Where We Are


 

We’re one team,
across five locations.

We have offices in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth), New Zealand (Queenstown) and the US (Los Angeles). This set up gives us greater flexibility across timezones and on-the-ground engagements in more communities — without feeling disconnected.

Although there may be borders and Zoom lines between us, we all work together as one team. When you engage For The People, you’re engaging the collective expertise and experience of our entire team. Because, we’re much more interested in tearing down barriers than putting them up.
